Well, as I’m sure most of you already know.. I had a little scare last week. I was feeling really sleepy, a little stiff and just not completely myself. Well, last Wednesday, I hadn’t moved in almost a full day, and my mom came into the room to call me to her and I couldn’t make my back legs work. My mom started crying, and that made me so sad. I couldn’t even budge for a treat right in front of my face.

She rushed me to the vet (scary place.. but I DO love my doctor, she loves me and treats me very well) – and I had to stay overnight while they ran a bunch of tests on me. Aside from being dehydrated (from not going out to get water), I came back healthy as could be! After two days of tests and thinking back – along with the help of the Lab Board, it was concluded that it must have been a reaction to a Rabies vaccine I had been given 10 days prior.

What a scary time, but I am doing just fine now! Doc wanted me to have a few days rest, away from the energy and activity of my brother and sisters.. so my mom still went on her trip to Arizona with them, while I got to stay at my Grandma and Grandpa’s! What a time I had!! Grandma thought it was funny, because anytime she would come look for me, I would be out in the yard, either jogging the perimeter (making sure the birds stayed away!!), sunbathing on the concrete.. or just sitting in the middle of the HUGE grassy area admiring the yard. I love being outside, so Grandma’s house is like heaven!

I have a few more days of medicine, but I’m going to be just fine. Thank you to all of my aunts out there who care so much about me. I love you all!

Well, my mom has finally gotten off her butt and got my blog all set up. I told her I wanted this blog, so I could talk about my adventures. We haven’t done much lately, except a dog park trip, where I proceeded to cover the perimeter the entire time, making sure there were not small critters needing chased.

I’ve been sleeping a lot lately, resting up for our big weekend this weekend. We are going to Arizona, and we all get to go! Mom tells us there is a dog park near her friends house.. wonder if there will be critters there I can chase? Well, I hear the pigeons cooing, so I’m off to watch them, make sure they don’t get too close to our house.
